Beautiful course and in great condition. Played newport , fairways were cut very well, putting greens were firm and smooth. Easily the nicest bunkers I have personally played. Amazing course looking forward to coming back again!

I called to ask if this course offers a locals discount as I know other courses in town do, and my partner and I are new to golfing so we’ve never been to this course- and likely never will now. Michaels response was rude and unprofessional- “my locals discount is a membership.” I called with a simple question and was “greeted” with huffing, puffing and snarky response. Michael, I hope your day gets better.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURES!!! Only the Newport Bay course features views of the bay/water and the course called SEASIDE, features holes right next to the roads and houses. Now to get to the worst part…the MOSQUITOES. I have never experienced so many mosquitos in one concentrated place in my life. Every single hole, my foursome and I were rushing our shots because if we stood still for longer than 5 seconds, we would get eaten alive. Yes it’s nature but there’s also things that can be done by this golf club to try and limit the prevalence of these insects. Perhaps those high frequency machines or bug repellers on the carts. Something, anything would be better than this. Now the course ‘Seaside’ (or as it should be called ‘Insectiside/Roadside’) was in decent condition besides a few dirt patches, but that can be overlooked when there’s a much more pressing issue plaguing this course. In summation, I’m sure we would’ve had a much more pleasant experience had the Newport Bay (the one ACTUALLY on the water) course been open and/or the mosquitos were more under control, but unfortunately those were not the circumstances we played in. Not an enjoyable day.
