Welcome back to the White Marlin Capital of the World, Ocean City, MD! The infamous White Marlin Open is back in OCMD for its 47th year on the shore, bigger and better than ever with new surprises and larger prizes. Head into OCMD to watch in suspense as the fates change with the tip of the scale with $6.7 million on the line, at the world’s largest and richest billfish tournament!
The White Marlin Open has awarded skilled fishermen and novice anglers over $63 million dollars in prize money since 1974! While this year’s tournament may look a bit different, in Ocean City, we’re excited to welcome back this classic event. White Marlin Open Viewing Opportunities
In partnership with the Worcester County Health Department, there will be significantly reduced spectators allowed at the Harbour Island weigh-ins, and the event layout will be modified. This year, a new family-friendly viewing experience will be located at the 3rd Street Bayside ballpark where people can cheer on the boats as they head to Harbour Island to weigh their catch, view a live stream of the weigh-ins, shop vendor booths, purchase concessions, and official White Marlin gear!

Social distancing is strongly encouraged - there will be lots of room to spread out!

Face coverings are recommended but not required at this location.

Hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the ballpark.

Coolers are not permitted.

Chairs and blankets ARE permitted.
Harbour Island Spectators

Wristbands will be required to enter Harbour Island.

Wristband distribution will begin at 2 pm each day and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Face coverings are required for everyone over the age of 10.

Hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout Harbour Island.

Chairs, blankets, and coolers are not permitted at Harbour Island.

August 3-9 - Fishing Begins Daily at 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Anglers may only fish 3 of the allotted days
Weigh-ins Are Daily at 4:00 pm – 9:15 pm
Weigh-ins are at the Harbour Island Marina and are Closed to the Public
Virtual viewing location at 3rd Street Bayside Ballpark 4:00 pm - 9:15 pm, Monday - Friday only
August 10 - Polygraph Testing and Trophy Presentation 4:00 - 6:00 pm at the Aloft Hotel
